CTEP – A partnership between business leaders and educators working together on career-focused goals:
- To develop a statewide CTE curriculum that aligns with NJ’s high school and industry standards
- To create CTE classroom modules that lead to high-wage, high-skill or high-demand occupations
- To producer and deliver statewide professional development workshops for secondary administrators and educators
- To enhance student leadership opportunities in career and technical organizations (CTSO’s).

Mercer CTEP/SREB = National Contributor
Mercer County Community College CTEP project has been chosen to participate in a national initiative. Working very closely with the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education – the MCCC CTEP Business, Management and Administration Committee – (collaborating with the Finance Committee) will contribute to the Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB) on their nationwide The Preparation for Tomorrow (PFT) initiative.
